Tesi di dottorato

The project focuses on the use of intestinal ultrasound as early evaluation of therapy response in patients with inflammatory bowel disease undergoing a new target therapy (first target therapy, or switch from another target therapy). Durung the first year of the project therer will be the recruitment period with basal evaluation of the patients. During the second year there will be the end of the enrollment and the follow up visits of the previously included patienst. During the third year there will be the end of the follow up period for all the patients already included in the first 2 years. The follow up will be of ast least 12 months and echographical evaluation will be every 3 months from enrollment ultil 12 months, then at the end of the project tehre will be clinical evaluation of all patients. From novembre 2022 to october 2023 20 patients were included in the study.
