RESEARCH PROJECT: “Cardiovascular mechanics and hemodynamics evaluation across the spectrum of heart failure: from diagnostic and prognostic assessment to treatment guidance”

The present research project aims at providing insights on several clinical aspects of invasive and non-invasive hemodynamics assessment across the heart failure (HF) spectrum, including:

  1. The clinical relevance of flow and pressures trajectories in HF and their relevance to guide treatment strategies.

  2. The accuracy of non-invasive hemodynamics assessment.

  3. The use of hemodynamics to optimize advanced HF management.

  4. The impact of HF treatments on cardiopulmonary hemodynamics.

The project is articulated in retrospective and prospective, single-center and multi-centric, mechanistic and pragmatic sub-studies based on their specific aim.
